"That book is rare due to controversy."

"so?"

"Steal it." The sprite said "Or else watch it burn."

"what are you talking about?"

"They talk about how light and dark used to be as one."

"i don't find that surprising actually"

The sprite chewed his cheek "If you don't they'll burn the last remenant of history of any sprite!"

"fine, if this book is so important"
Jack spoke a fire spell and the book crumbled tom ashes
"don't freak out, i can fix it"
he scooped it int a medicine jar and stuffed it in his pocket

The sprite almost did. "I spend my time collecting these books that have been banned."

"i know my magic, that fire spell is special in that it can be reversed. it can turn burnt ashes into what it once was, and function to burn them in the first place. just have to make sure you get all of them of some parts will be missing"

The sprite sticks out his hand "Okay then My name's Micheal"

"Jack" he shook his hand, figuring he might as well make some allies here

Micheal walked out "Come on I need that book!"

Jack followed him, allowing his wings to flare up in the librarians face before he left

Micheal led him to an imposing looking house with blood splattered everywhere

"nice place"

"I know" Micheal leads him to the only clean room.

"seriously?"

"Yep." Micheal motioned to a plinth "Book please."

Jack handed him the jar

Micheal let the ashes fall on the plinth.

Jack recited the spell, backwards and the ashes swirled into the book again

Micheal pushed him out then and there "Okay go NOW!"

Jack massaged his shoulder after he got shoved out
"ungrateful bastard, i should just make that book ashes again now"

Micheal dumped blood out the window. "You know I could let you in."
