"hey its ok, we understand"

"after I'm done follow me to a generator."

"ok" Nick subconsciously whistled a tune

Shaira sang a sad sad song.

Nick soon realized what he was whistling and thought it was appropriate
"The Song of Healing, sad, but it also signifies continuation of whatever is being healed in some form....does this mean something to us?"

Shaira finished.

"you going to be ok?"

"Yes."

"Song of Healing, it has a sad tone, but the name tells you what it means"

"What is this Song of Healing you are talking about?"

"just something from our civilization...it would take a while to explain it"

"Ahhh." Shaira said. "I will tell you more of my civilization as we walk."

"where would we be walking to?"

"Shelter and a generator." Shaira said. She looked into what was once a shop.

"huh..."

"TO STAY IN TIL YOU'RE OFF THIS ISLAND!!!" Shaira screamed at him. She was definately not as okay as she said she was.

"ok then, one, i understood and two, you seem a little testy about us being here"

"It's not that." Shaira said "too many memories here."

Nick nodded

Shaira climbed into the shop "Aha!" She came out with a Geiger Counter. "Okay this'll help.

"A geiger counter? you have nuclear power?"

"yes. I told you we were hyper-advanced civilization." She stared at him for a moment. "If you lived in our cities you would be... I don't know... no one had a look like yours." She looked at Brendan "You'd be a Ritual Leader for the worship of Fire."

"i'm interested in seeing the setup of your reactors, cause for all we know they've deteriorated and this island is radioactive, of course i guess if it was that geiger counter would be going off right now.....wait, how did you understand what i meant when i said 'geiger counter'?"

"I guessed." Shaira said "but we call ours Radiation Finders."

"ok, so these reactors must be pretty solid then, cause that thing isn't going off"
