Brendan looked at him

Shaira moved closer "I told you to shut up."

"fine"

"Good."

Sieria sniffled and pulled her knees to her chest

Brendan sat next to her

"i have angered you in both of your lives, i am sorry"

Shaira moved aside.

NIck went over and sat next to the machine, facing the wall

Brendan murmured in Sieria's ear. "what do you see in him?"

Sieria looked down feeling somewhat ashamed

Brendan looked at her.

she looked back with the eyes of a sick puppy, sad and hopeful

Brendan smiled at her and patted her back "Cheer up."

"its hard to, given the circumstances"

there was a clatter on the other side of the room, Nick had dropped his Leatherman, "take it away from me..."

Shaira picked it up. "Why?"

"you don't want me trying anything, do you?"

Shaira shrugged and walked away.

Sieria got up, "i need rest...where would i find a bed?"

"I walked around a bit follow me" Brendan said.

Sierira followed Brendan her hands clasped before her, her eyes gazing at her feet

Brendan opened a door to a bedroom "Here if you need anything else just call."

Sieria lay down on the bed and when Brendan left eased her self under the covers and gingerly removed her clothes, 'for comfort' she would have claimed

Brendan walked to another room.

Sieria quickly fell to sleep

Shaira was sitting on the bed throwing knives at the wall.
